    If FNV were set in Medieval Ages. 1st NCR Recon would be an Archer battalion. Makes sense, they take high ground and rain hell at hoover dam

    But personally if FNV is Medieval setting, almost no factions have access to horses/cavalry which would make the setting pretty much Bronze Age in feels.

    The Legions can be portrayed as cave-dweller barely got access to iron working. Similiar to the Barbarians in Battle Brothers game. Their iron equipment are cold-worked, they are fully nomadic, almost know no agriculture, and they desperate to find real perfect place to settle down.

    @eissa So the the NCR 1st recon battalion would the be the equivalent of Skirmisher/Ambush Archers? Taking High Ground is always perfect for ambushes and I think 1st Recon did something akin to that during the battle for Hoover Dam

    I ever saw arguments from people trying to counter his arguments in the video in the comment section and the people defending him were using the "it's just his opinion" horseshit and the "not everything needs to be an echo chamber" crap. Because not being an echo chamber means accepting bad arguments.

    Yeah i remember Manyatruenerd's video. That guy is a sad case of a hypocrite. He even called FNV the best fallout game. but he couldnt defend Fallout 3 without shitting on New Vegas or people who called him out for why F3 isnt as good as he thinks

    I guess when it comes to Fallout 3. I'm the Regis to a lot of people's Papa Khan on that game. Sure I hate it, but not to level others do.

    You're not wrong. I love the East coast as a region. As an east coastie I like to see D.C. get representation. It's a hell hole in real life tbh damn near being the Chicago of the East. Maybe nostalgia blinds me sometimes because it was the first RPG I played through start to finish when I was 11. But looking back-it fades.

    Really wish they would've consulted Tim Cain for the story. Or if Atomic Postman had his idea around for years and they adapted his story. (Rest In Power to that dude, he was one of my favorite people to converse with here)

    Fallout 3 is kinda like the idiot savant of the series. When it's genius. It surpasses everything others did. When it's bad, it's insulting!

    Sorry i refer to how good The Pitt is. That was genius writing. Most everything else? yeaaaaaah......no. At least it aint Fallout 4....bar already shooting low

    The Pitt's writing is mid at best and actually kind of dumb in several areas if you think about it for more than two seconds. The Pitt's writing only seems genius because the rest of the game's writing is so bad that it makes mediocre writing look good. Put The Pitt in New Vegas and that's the worst writing in the game.
