Morrowind is at least more interesting though. The spells in Morrowind are better than later entries.

I never got in to morrowind for some reason but yeah. Noone of the ES games are great TBH. It is the mods that makes them decent.

I agree, I finished Morrowind and its DLCs but the combat was horrible, I don't understand how they fucked it up so badly. That's the only downside to it too, apart from that, fantastic game.

Also the dialogue or rather lack thereof. Copy-paste Wikipedia speak for the whole game feels horrible.

Yeah, the dialogue is just asking for wiki entries unless the character has something else to say related to a quest with it. If they don't, have a paragraph that anyone else with the same topic will spout.
Combat's bad but it's not nearly as atrocious once you level up and can consistently hit/cast.

Game is surprisingly cheesable at the start too. You could get a ton of Septims and some nice loot just by farming the assassin.
