People are so blinded by their hate for Disney that they are now ignoring how bad the prequels were. Yeah the prequels look a little better in comparison. Doesn't change the fact it's still shit.

People cling to hope even though history proves the sentiment is hopeless.

The problem here is that the prequels are shit, so hope should have been gone already.

George Lucas only ever broke Star Wars. The movies he worked on the most were the worst in the franchise

If he made more Revenge of the Sith-like films then I'd accept them.

Even Revenge of the Sith was filled with corny dialogue, wodden acting, overusage of CGI and Anakin's turn to the dark side is so contrived and rushed. It's probably the best prequel but it's still not very good.
