It's one of those JRPG's that you have to play if you like JRPG's. Or are you talking about the remake? Fuck the remake.

I am talking about both. Thing is I have never been a fan of FInal Fantasy, except for FFXV, they always have something that irritates me, either obtuse mechanics (FF8 and FF12) insufferable characters and story (FF10 and 13) so I have never played the 7th and if I am gonna add something to the backlog, I think I better add something not from the PS1 era.

Remake looks like it changed a ton about the game.

You have not played a lot of good ones like Tactics, 5, and 6. Try those.

FF6 is on Steam, I might get that one.
