One of the countries will be all like "AMERICA PLEASE HELP ME" and if the president is smart he'll tell them to blow it out their ass and stay neutral. If not then the whole Asian continent will be a war zone since I imagine the India-China thing will stay in the mountains.

Any war will get America involved in some way.

Not in any real sense, no. The US would sort of move to back India, but it'll just be a mountain war ala the 60s. Not everything becomes a matter of global life or death. Though if the US fumbles enough, it may be seen as a greenlight around the world that the US will no longer step in and stop conflicts, so more might arise. Ah well.

Yeah, this is a very specific conflict about the exact positions of the borders in the Aksai-Chin area. It's not about real conquest, but political bargaigning power, and there's no way it's gonna culminate in a billion vs billion armageddon. They're posturing. Well, China's posturing.

China can very much grab territory quickly at the correct timing if anything distracts the west and prevents their will to declaring war.

They can, but what is interesting is that - they did! When they captured Aksai-Chin from India, back in the 60s, they also seized all of Arunachal Pradesh - which they also claimed as their own, for then to withdraw, and just hand it back (while keeping Aksai-Chin)

They basically concluded their territorial disputes, by force, for then to revert it half-way, "just cus"

It gets frustrating really. Nobody keeps up with military developments or geopolitical theorycraft. It's all about nukes and nukes and nobody wants nukes so things will be the same. Sorry but we have been left in the dark about the military for 50 years. Plan on missiles from space wiping out nukes before they can even lift off.

When it happens it'll snap in the blink of an eye, bursts of artillery and a million die. We'll pile the corpses over a mile high, and shovel the rest with a gleam in our eye.
