Part of the problem is internet has made everybody think they have a voice, when they don't. In the old days, you got up on a soapbox in the city for real, a week later, you're crying in a pillory. Try "voicing your views" in the 80s, you'd just be a ranting lunatic, screaming out the window

Not making this up, the whole narrative of the "centirst" candidate bot farms 2 weeks ago was that he didn't deserve to be president because his followers used the Laughing reaction on facebook to cyberbully people. They think they are cosmopolitan new york teenagers and they are surprised this isn't helping their candidate not flounder in the polls.

If a centrist candidate was to exist it would need a third party that was not worthless.

We have like 7 parties running right now lmao. And the ones leading are the one made up last year from the leading left wing candidate making a new party with social leaders and politicians, and some idiot rich guy who also made up his party last year even tho he is involved in his department serving kids donkey meat for lunch.

Not to get all anti-capitalist again, but any candidate who is going to actually deviate so much as a hint *from* the expected growth inside the private sector - who is going to knowingly, willingly, and physically impose any sort of tangible change, will be someone who just vanished in a puff of smoke one day

American private sector is weird though, it's like a huge party, tons of coke, weird illogical shit, like prison-industry and overworking laborers, when gay academia repeatedly prove rested, happy workers make _greater_ output, its like "fuck that! snoooort! yeah baby!"

Well the leading leftwing candidate is proposing substantial change, industrialization of the agriculture sector, transition to clean energy, basically taking adavantage of all the shit we always boast about being the strenght of our country but we never invest in and on legalizing drugs and signing peace treatys with the insurgents so we can stop throwing money on that sink. This is extremism apparently.

Russian oligarchs for example, seem more serious, cus they are, cus they're intrinsically imbedded in the European-Russian stalemate of centuries, they are all in bed with Putin, cus they - like the American business elite - are imbedded in the existence of the state, but they - unlike the American ones, are actually at some form of personal risk
