Very good game, and another example of ridiculously misinterpreted Rockstar title "this game promotes bullying!", what, any of you critics ever play it? "No! I would never play a game that promotes bullying! Same as GTA5, which promotes torture!"
Thats why they had to call the game canis canem and not bully because apparently bully is an offensive word or some shit. I find it prety cool that a video game can still be fun even if you don't have to play as an adult with guns or wepaons or some shit
Bully is litterally a clone, as with all of Rockstar's games, like Red Dead and La Noire. That is how they can make such amazingly polished games with their main titles, GTA - they don't spread out, they focus
In terms of mechanics. Bully was practically San Andreas re-skinned. All these games tend to be very superficially judged though, like GTA and the incessant accusation of "its about fucking hookers, and running them over afterwards". The GTA-series always had some of the best written characters imo. Bully included! The sociopath antagonist in Bully is amazingly creepy! As well as realistic!
I think, with GTA in particular, a lot of people dont reaaally play it. They just have fun running people over, especially with GTA5, when a lot of people go right to the online. A friend of mine has only ever played GTAO, he didn't even TRY the single player mode! The infamous "torture scene" I count as a mile-pole in gaming as a whole, it was fantastic! And did obviously NOT promote torture, quite the contrary!
