Nope, the gated community I live in has zero crime.

It's more the latter thing I'm asking about. My dad says it anytime there's any crime on the news.

Most active criminals tend to be politically unaligned. Like, drug dealers and whatnot. It seems kind of pointless to assign them to a side of the political spectrum.

Not really. Seen a lot more antifa and BLM riots than I have alt-right. Near as I can tell the alt-right is mostly comprised of 4 Chan losers.

The alt-right won themselves a president. It's true that it is based on 4 chan, but it is also true that central individuals are employing very clever tactics to bring forth their ideology. Antifa is a direct response. That's why we're talking about them these days.
