Actualy, if I understood him right they were just using FO textures to test the game engine, and plan to make new models after the engine works.

Great screenshots but it's not enough to see how post-apocalyptic it is, even though it looks like Fallout (which is a compliment of course)

Dont know why you think the screens are bad. First of all, if it is tiled landscape, then the tiles are done very very good. Of course, NPC in robes look a bit ..squary.. but as I can understand its just a first shoot of the artists. The thing with textures on cars I allready commented. But overall - dont see why the pictures are worse than Fallouts. Really - they look just ok, on the same level at least.
Would like to know from intoxicate himself or someone who knows - hows the game engine built. Is it 2D background + 3D sprites(models)+2D (or 3D) objects? Or is it tiled background + 3D characters (that, as I can tell is for sure what means the game will feature dynamic equipment change when you can see what you are wearing or holding - in contrary of Fallouts where this feature was really limited) + 2D or 3D (I bet, 2D) objects. It just cannot be full-3D IMHO
