He's just a guy who says stupid pharses like "HEADSHOT!!!!1" and "MONSTER-KILL!!!!1one" just to make the player feel like a big man... don't know what logic that makes, but the announcer shouldn't even be considered as a character, therefore not making an appearance on this list.

An iconic character. He's really part of the popular culture though, how many times you hear someone saying HEADSHOT!!, heck I remember in school throwing papers to someone else, and upon a great shot, saying that with the voice of the Announcer.

I don't know most of the characters on that list but I feel sorry for Agent 47's position..seriously, I'd put him in the top 10, I'm sure his waaaay better than Brucie, Illidian and few others.
Mario? I think he's overrated, seriously. At least if they had replaced Brucie with Dimitri, a character from the same game.
Also...GLADOS should be in top 3, how is Mario or Freeman any better than GLADOS?
