$87,000,000,000.00

Gee, $87,000,000,000 could sure buy a lot of tacos. Or bombs. I'm thinking Bush and his cronies are going to spend it on the latter, because bombs are fun. I think this time, though, we should use them on somebody other than the Iraqis...like the Canadians or the Spanish; some country that hasn't had a good, long, needless war in a while. Another prolonged armed conflict might pull our economy out of the shitter for a while. Since after all, as Randolphe Burne put it, war is the health of the state.

Personally, if i had $87Billions, I'd buy the entire state of Rhode Island and turn it into my own personal theme park.

Tell it to the Judges my friend.

No, I'm just stating the facts, that's all.

What I'm really trying to go after is the incredible amount of money that is being spent here. I mean seroiusly, just look at that big wad of cash. What's even more amazing is that this is only an additional large chunk of the budget being spent on the war. Shouldn't that be spent on more worthwhile things? Even if we weren't spending it on a war, you know that money wouldn't be going to places it should.

OH MY GOD! USA is spending 166 BILLION DOLLARS in Iraq and Afghanistan in only 1.5 years?! 166 billions dollars is nearly 170 times bigger than entire budget of Croatian government in 2003!

It's also roughly the entire army budget of either Holland or France since...well...WW II.

Yeah, and I am one of the many who is going to have to pay that debt off that Bush is bringing on us. It is a good cause, but damn, that's going to be a lot to pay off. But, since I am joining the military, I suppose I will get a little break. I will pay my part though, if I support the war, I should pay for it when I am old enough to pay taxes. Might as well save up some money for it now.

*takes a deap breath* 1, 2, 3, 4...

[sarcasm]Holland has army budget of 170 billion dollars? That's a lot of money, especially considering the government budget of Holland is about 240 billion dollars (if I am not mistaken). Over 70% of your budget goes to the army? Crap, I always knew Dutchies were up to something, but I had no idea you intended to conquer the world...[/sarcasm]

I meant all the money we spent on our army since WW II.

And I meant Germany, not France.

Serves me for posting late.

Got like 3 fucking hours of sleep last night.

166$ is 1.492 times more than Norway's planned budget for next year is...But then again Norway is a small country... And also I was reading this arcticle in Time or Newsweek and it said that by 2010 the US would owe about 1 trillion $ to foreign banks and countries

...and then Trilateral Commission will further tighten its grip around once proud and independant USA...

Just give me 1,000,000,000 and i'll be happy... damn Bush is greedy....

And he did get "elected" it's all his brother's fault, if he hadn't sent the shitty voting counting thingies, Gore would have won. Damn that fucker "President" Bush, he should be poked in the eye with a fork.

I'm with Montez, I'm moving to Canada if he is "elected" again....

(Katja....where ya' live??......)

If by "using a typically fair system that has served the American people for two and a half centuries" is rigged, I dont know what is.

Dont you see the irony anyway? You accuse people of being undemocratic and authoritarian, yet threaten to leave if they are elected.
