A thought and a question...

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter because you know based on Skyrim and Fallout 4 that Elder Scrolls VI will have you playing from the start as some kind of God-King that is in charge of every major competing faction from the start of the game because "reasons." Contrast this with Fallout 3 where you're part of a larger picture - you're not blindly promoted to head of the Brotherhood like Skyrim makes you head of the Mages Guild. In Fallout New Vegas you're a courier and gain success within the competing factions, but they don't just go "Oh look some random Joe let's make him the new Caesar!"

In Fallout 4 some guy I just met started calling me General of the Minutemen, and my kidnapped son is calling shots at the Institute, and the Brotherhood of Steel, an organization that tried to have me killed by sending me to The Glow, immediately welcomed me as a rank officer in Fallout 4. GREAT WRITING!

I agree this is a core issue, and a very big one at that. Incest is not. Let's give criticism where it's due. The rushed storyline, the terrible companion AI, and the good old Cabot House.

I concur.

Cabot house, where Fallout 4 excels!

This brings up a good question: Can generation III Synths reproduce? They're genetically modified clones and have no distinguishable biological differences from normal humans, so I don't see why not.

I was wondering...are synths...artificial humans? Like I don't know, clones? Or are they androids? With circuits, wires and processors in them?
I suppose it's the second option since you can say a code and they shut down.
Next question: There is a quest in covenant where

A doctor is keeping a girl imprisoned in order to find out if she is a synth or not by experimenting on her.
Her methods were cruel from what I've understood but why didn't she/they go as far as cutting tissue? Or kill her and examine if there are any wires, parts in it?

When you reach The Institute, you can see synths being made.

They suspend actual bones in some sort of gravity ring, and use machines to basically stitch/graft things like muscles on, then they dip them into a vat of some liquid stuff, and they come out with flesh.

they are actual bone and tissue, at least the gen 3 synths are

They have chips in their heads. You have to get one out of an Institute Courser as part of the main quest.

So the synths have chips that influence their organic human brain to stop moving? (but keep some of the muscles contracted in order to stand up :D )

Actually, F4 is much better with mindlessly promoting you than Skyrim. You become a Minuteman General because there's literally one other Minuteman who is kind of a mess, your son was raised by the Institute (it's like complaining whenever an American becomes president) and... Okay, the Brotherhood kinda sucks.

I think Skyrim was better. You at least do SOMETHING big. But both were shit anyway.
