Adapting Van Buren (Workshop - Complete on Page 30)

It looks excellent. Could I have it in black and white possibly?

A little bit of additional detail I already had in mind but a slight amendment that's not substantial enough to re-up the PDF:

The Dusty Runners of Grand Junction are now remnants of the 215 Vultures, one of many bands that scattered after Heartbreak Hotel broke their back and ran them out of Utah. Their warlord, Thunderbird, is rumoured to be alive somewhere and Heartbreaker has put a high price on his head.

Not a huge detail but just interconnects things a little more.

A bigger detail is that White-Liner is one of the 80s warrior captured by the Heartbreak Hotel. So the players can choose to side with the Hotel or the 80s in their little war. They could do Heartbreaker's bidding and get White-Liner or help the 80s siege the Hotel.

Good 'changes.' I especially like that White-Liner is captured, it adds a lot more depth to the questline beyond "kill the 80s or help the 80s kill"... even though the new option is just "kill the 80s with the Heartbreakers" but the brutality is fitting for this particular questline.

Also, have you given any thought to my star-note that a piece of rare Old World music would be useful for the players to get into Heartbreakers room?

Well I did end up updating the PDF and theoretically you can negotiate a peace between the Heartbreak Hotel and the 80s if the Heartbreakers are willing to fork over a fuckload of ammunition and provide them with a vehicle. Heartbreaker will commission the players to restore the Provo buggy to working condition or at least retrieve it. However getting this to even start as a trade would require strong Persuasion and Barter on both ends.

Also it's a good idea vis a vis the music but idk how to incorporate it that it's not just a meaningless fetch quest. Perhaps their Red Menace'd Prison-Boys have radio access and can access CONEL-RAD radio which has come back online with Uncle Sam, and so they can provide a unique frequency that he's been unable to crack providing him with a whole new library.
