So stop being pessimistic and and start using your post apocalyptic minds to give ideas

.
Nah, that's just bullshit. From my side, at least, no optimism for nobody unless they show they deserve it. Because hey! I, too, can deliver a huge list of features and promises, and a better one if you ask me, and then what? Just because I show pretty graphics and tell you "it's gonna be ok" I deserve optimism? No way!
If anything, they starting to sound like Bethesda, promising loads and delivering (or showing) zilch.

As long as they are 3 of us in the ENG forum in the afterfall community, we will not get proper feedback and information. So come join in and start sharing your opinion!
As long as their apparent interest in the ENG community remains the same as it has been up til now, there won't be much more people in the ENG forums...

How can you tell all this? Noone knows how much money do they have, but they assure they do have enough.
Yes, I don't know how much money they have, but Nicolas games isn't known for its huge loads of money flowing from everywhere. A project of THAT magnitude, and please remember what we're talking about, is something that even huge editors with multiple studious would have trouble in developing with that kind of graphical quality. Now think how much would it take for those editors to risk actually giving it a shot.
Furthermore, them telling me they have enough means pretty much nothing at this point. They could say they have all the money in the world for all I care. It's not being pessimistic, it's being clearheaded and reasonable. The original Afterfall is a HUGE thing, put graphics on top of it, and you have something that's out of reach for pretty much every editor. And take into account the worldwide economic crisis, the investors fear (or whatever) and make your math.

They may not have 20 people good in writing but there are a few people who have been doing all the writing during past 3 years. Note that they have been doing it without being paid so for the owners of Intoxicate it's like having part of game made for free.
First, they are writing in Polish. Second, they've shown zero proof of their quality to the English community (I don't know if they've shown anything to the Polish community). And third, it'd take an additional amount of time to translate everything to English, with no guarantee of quality whatsoever.

Also costs of making a game are a bit lower than in US and I don't think money will be spent on any hollywood actor to voice 2 sentences.
You think they won't have voice acting? Ahah. Maybe not full voice acting (maybe) but they will have voice acting, unless the guys leading the thing are just out of their minds. Otherwise why spend resources on catering to the graphic whores only to throw them out in making them read huge amounts of text?
Now that I mention it, the turn based combat is still in, right?

Being reluctant to praise something is ok but you guys here are pessimistic about AF whatver you hear about it
And why don't you shut your pretty mouth for a second and read something instead of saying stupid things like that? First, "you guys"? I'm not "you guys" and just so you know I was a huge fanboy of afterfall back when they weren't with nicolas, when they were releasing faqs and stuff, I was hyped as hell, even with the graphics they had at the time (which were worse than these, most likely). But I always thought they had funding, and a good funding at that. When I found out they were working for free, I kind of lost most of my hopes. I said it in their forums here too. And then they went and cut features and bumped up their graphics and found an editor and all that. No hope back, quite the contrary.

good features - unrealistic and game will suck because they are not true
Have you even seen what they promised in the first place? I never said it was unrealistic myself, I actually believe that it's quite possible to accomplish something of that magnitude with a pain team with a strong lead.

One a side note: I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here but Andrzej Koloska said they could have long ago abbadon making AF to be hired as a team for some other project, they had a few propositions. So why the hell would they now make the game that sucks after fighting for it so long?
Maybe because they... hum. I don't want to insult anyone. Buttom line is, people often fight very hard for things that aren't the best for them, or for others.

I think after all that "Fallout 3 is not Fallout but it is a good game so let's join hands and change our attitude" bullshit I have seen around here, if one software does not deserve to be called names then it is this.
Because you say so? Nah. Right now, for me, 90% of the people working on/leading game projects are just corporate fucks who don't give a fuck about the quality. They just care about the sales, and if to reach a good amount of sales they have to put in some quality (most of the times they don't), then they do it, because they can. Fallout 3 deserves to be called names. Sure. But so does every other game that fucks up and fails to meet the standards. Because that's what matters: meeting standards. If they'd promised a straight forward Jagged Alliance clone then people would be like "ok, that's nice if they do it right". And if then they'd bump up the feature list and presented what they are presenting NOW people would probably be orgasming all over the place because "wow, this is shaping up to be much more than we thought it's gonna be!". Not the other way around.
