Alternative E.P.A./Abbey Maps + other ideas and other maps

Oh and ye these are just alternative, bigger maps, with some tougher enemies for Killap's RP. Abbey will be next. Same stuff, different visual experience, perhaps a few bonus things added like computer consoles which give you xp after getting to know some parts of E.P.A. history. And of course the Ghoul/Hungry Human attack during your visit in the zoo. Despite my slight innovation with the bunker walls I'm planning on sticking to the design documents.

So you are making this as a bolt on to the RP? That makes things easier as you should be able to alter the scripts without it causing issues... Are you adding any new scripting content?

Well kind of. It's mostly just an alternative looking map, better visual experience and you get to fight in a bunker like map. There's simply too many Vaults - Vault 13, Vault city vault, San Francisco (2 vaults). Don't people get tired of it?

As for the other question. Well... I guess you should have asked if I can script and the answer would be - nope I suck ass at it. I have the ideas, but I can't really make them come true you see. Would you help me out in making my vision come true? It doesn't change a lot of things, but I wanted to add some stuff too you know. Like a tour system which would permanently open some doors for you like the museum, zoo and power core. If you remember it was said that:

This sexy-sounding (yet somehow prim and proper at the same time) hologram is in charge of all the tours and press releases. Her syrupy-sweet attitude and her constant stream of press releases gets annoying really fast. Nonetheless, the player cannot get to certain areas of the EPA complex without her. There are also some portions of the complex that will only open if she leads the way (mostly the museums and petting zoo). Characters with a high diplomatic skill can get much more out of her than other characters.

And that's what I would like to recreate.
 
All the maps for the EPA are finished except for the doctor's place, but I'm working on it (also the older version of that place could be added since there's an exit grid that should lead the player behind the EPA) Here are the files:

Well only the Doc's map needs some work now. The rest of the EPA is done. My bump is coming a bit late but I guess there will be another one soon when I'm done with the Doctor's Laboratory.

If anyone's interested in doing some elevator scripting I'd really like to get his or hers help.

Oh and ye I also re-made the Auto Cook (named it "Auto Cook 5000" after the band Powerman 5000 I thought it would be ok)

I have noticed, on some of your screenshots, that the huge pipes ending in 100mm thick partition walls. IMHO it doesn't make much sense. They should lead into services duct or cavity wall.

Btw didn't you mean a set of pipes in the walls which was placed a bit behind a large shower room that was meant for the EPA's military personnel?

I have to confess that I've been neglecting these maps since I'm waiting for someone to scrip them. Probably in a few days when Robert will have more spare time.
 
I don't remember that one, but remember one with two pipes coming up from the floor ending in partition wall and it was close to some pit in the floor, if I remember correctly.

Oh that it must have been the vent. There's a large underground water tank near the pit and the underground is like a big water pump/water purification system and vent. The 2 pipes near the pit where supposed transfer the underground water. I was thinking there could be some pipes inside the walls thus not viable. Which is why there where those 2 big hydraulics systems working a bit in the back next to them was a water pump.

Finally I'm back and updating the map. I made some unconventional cages I need some feedback on like the cages that where made by The Doctor.

While the EPA was complete more or less the warehouse and the lake where untouched.

Another problem was that it's supposed to be a lake so it's huge now. I really HUGE! Like a lake.

And it seems to look good and I like the cages. After all it was supposed to be a re-made warehouse to fit a lab. So it can't have any underground facility.

Besides it's a lake. Why would there be a facility under it I thought? So instead I moved the opened freezers in to the EPA Sub level - Cryogenics (AKA Blue) where one of the freezers meant for the scientist seems to be missing. Why? Because it has been moved to the warehouse and reassembled.

Only thing left now is "The Maze" which I'll finish soon.
