I am not so sure about the skin color, Ausir could be right on that, but it is true that the Super Mutants have gone from somewhat hunchbacked overmuscled behemoths to upright standing hulk look alikes in FOBOS (Tactics too?) and that Bethesda continued that in Fallout 3..
