I think piracy in the PC is as common as in the consoles but PC gamers tend to get cracked games because there are more games to choose from, i guess.

People, wake up. 
Piracy on consoles isn't done over the internet for the most part. Let me tell you how easy it is to do and the actual HOW of how some do it.
You know what happens? Someone buys the game from EB. They take the game home and rip it and make copies, plus scan/print the instruction booklet (sold for another $2). They take the game back for more credit to get another game to do the same. They then also sell the copies they made for maybe $5 apiece and pocket a bit of money.
See? So very simple, and you don't need an internet connection. Now imagine teens doing this in high schools, and then you'll understand how well this works, especially in the larger cities.

Too true. A few guys I work with have modded Xbox's - they just go rent games, rip the image to the xbox hardrive and return the game. That's a hell of a lot easier than downloading 1.4 gigs of CD images and scouring the internet for cd keys and/or cracks just for a single PC game.
