Unkillable Cat
Mildly Dipped
Well, I did as you asked, killap. No problem for me to scrap my new game as I hadn't even cleared the Temple of Trials.
I installed the game, humongous installation, no patch included. Then I extracted your patch to the folder patch000.dat and made sure the folder was read-only (and not the entire contents of the folder) and moved it into the Fallout 2 folder.
I also took the liberty of extracting the fallout2.exe from your patch file, I figured it wouldn't work properly without that.
(Additionally, I deleted the "ereg" folder to get rid of that annoying Interplay electronic registration crap. This is an optional step, but I put it in here in case someone reading this doesn't know how to make your Fallout 2 gaming experience more pleasant.)
Then I ran the game, chose Narg as my character and muscled my way through the Temple Of Trials. Narg made it through the Temple, I arrived in Arroyo (where I proceeded to be a gigantic pain in the ass) and was killed fighting the spore plants in Hakunin's garden.
As I was not certain whether the patch had worked, I immediately started a new game, chose Chitsa and prepared myself to run through the Temple of Trials...
...except, get this. The ants in the first room were already dead. I explored the Temple further, and discover that the locked door is unlocked and open, the sealed door is blasted open, and Cameron isn't guarding the exit, which is wide open. Every critter in a direct route through the Temple is post-apocalyptic roadkill. Apparantely, the Temple wasn't reset when I started the new game. I did not save, which might have something to do with it, but this certainly ranks as the oddest bug I've come across in Fallout 2.
To conclude my test, I immediately exited the village at the first opportunity and headed to Klamath. The map progress was at the slowed-down speed, and once in Klamath I accepted Torr's quest to guard the brahmin. One dead radscorpion later, I run over to the shack, fetch the radscorpion limbs, go talk to the Duntons, accept their quest, and confront them about the limbs. I successfully scare them into leaving Torr alone.
In conclusion, I would say that your patch works in this form. Of course, that bug with the Temple Of T(uto)rials will have to be explored further, and a second opinion wouldn't hurt.
