Most of those unofficial patches and mods are Works in Progress. It's nice to try them out if you are an Arcanum addict and want something more than what the original game has to offer, but you'll be bugged by bugs more often as well. You might want to report the bugs to the maker so he can fix them in his next release.Maynard James Keenan said:

I don't remember if you need to DL patch 1074 as well. I forgot. You should ask over at terra arcanum to be 100% sure.
