Are there any Homeworld fans here?

I didn't make it past mission in Homeworld 2 where the fighters are supposed to shoot down a bunch of incoming missiles. One or two of them slipped through, every time! :evil:

I never finished it at all and I found some of the missions incredibly annoying, not at all engaging like the ones in HW1 and Cata that made me continue on.
 
The problem with Homeworld today, is that with the release of the source code, you have to be too careful with the opponents you play. I was in a three way battle where I only knew one of the other players, and minutes into the skirmish, the one I didn't know was roaming the area with a full armada with carrier and destroyer class capital ships.

This would be the reason I'd buy the Homewrold remakes... hoping the actual game was not too onerously reworked by a 3rd party developer.
