are you okay with ugly characters?

Notice this trend with DA:I and now ME:A, male characters all are better looking (in the traditional sense) and more interesting than their female counter parts. I think it may be the writers.

Not necessarily as both Josephine and Cullen were non-player romances, both being conventionally pretty.

Companion wise? Not so much.

The women were really irritated by the fact Blackwall was the only male human companion romance and he looked like Santa.

Iron Bull was also....unconventional.

Cullen maybe but josephine is a ehhhh for me. Regardless I prefer the Origins and ME 1-3 era of romancable characters (Moragan, Tali, Garrus and etc)

What are you on about? Did you see how many pages Cullen has on the official forums with people just gushing about how handsome he is? I don't usually judge the looks of male characters, but I think if i were female, I'd totally swoon over his looks.

Cullen and Josephine are both conventionally attractive. They are, however, not companions nor do they get sex scenes like the companions.

Realistically ugly is fine, but unrealisticly ugly (as in the Ass Effect trailers) is just annoying.

Well, anyone who complains about "ugly characters" can only be a bitter basement dweller. I.E. The type of person who downloads Huge Tits mods unironically.
