So there's this new kickstarter made by Doug TenNapel, creator of The Neverhood and Earthworm Jim, and some of his buddies from the old Neverhood team:

It looks to be an adventure game in the same vein as The Neverhood, which means everything is in claymation, and Terry Scott Taylor is back doing his thing on the soundtrack.
Also features voicework from Mike Nelson of Rifftrax and MST3K, Rob Paulson (Pinky from Pinky & The Brain), Napoleon Dynamite, and some other guys.

So go watch the pitch video and throw money at them so we can get more awesome games!
 
Excellent, those games were a lot of fun. It was also known as Klaymen Klaymen in Japan. :roll:
 
Kinda hard to do a straight sequel without any rights I guess.
Besides, The Neverhood already had a sequel and new IP is always more fun, no?
 
Like usual, I wish I could back this up. Looks fun. They are already at $146,194 and still have 29 days to go, I am sure they'll make it.
 
Heh, I actually talked to Doug TenNapel about this briefly a few months back.

Was glad to see it get off the ground, and backed immediately, of course.
 
It's a pity, they're progressing too slow. Hope they'll still make it.

Yup, slow. They made only about 70K this week, about 10K a day. To reach the goal they needed about 20K a day.
Now, 13 days and 380K left. It means, now they have to make nearly 30K a day. Even considering the small rise at the end, I really have doubts they'll make it. Still hope they will.

They've set their goal too darned high.
