RE: How about best old console games?

The Old...

Sonic (yeah! First game I ever played)
The Story of Thor (Beyond Oasis to Yanks)
Phantasy Star series

The New...
Final Fantasy 7 & 8
Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3
Legacy of Kain (both of them)
SSX (*breaks out air guitar*)

The Borrowed...

Forgotten Worlds (for Mega Drive, had it for about 6 years)

And the Blue

Um... Ecco?
Star Control II is one of my all-time favorite games. It had a great engine and a FANTASTIC plot which never let up.

It was released quite some time ago, but it wasn't hugely successful (like it deserved to be). It was the best Sci-Fi RPG I've ever played.

>007 on the N64 kicks ass
>(yeah, I know it's a

Ugh, I hate 007. The controls are horrible, the gameplay is fuzzy and the graphics are choppy.

Maybe that's because I'm used to playing Quake II with a 32meg video card in 1024x768x32bit. After playing that 007 looks like crap.

>That Zelda game on the SNES.

Zelda was cool. Pretty damned good for one of their earlier games.

My favorite games?

Fallout 1 and 2 (Of course)
Final fantasy 7 and 9
Total Annihilation
Warcraft 2
Red Alert 1 and 2
Seven Kingdoms 2
Age of Empires 1 and 2

I used to be an RTS fan before Fallout and Final Fantasy changed that.
Oh yeah, I forgot

Shadow Dancer! 2nd game I ever played (that and Sonic were on one of those 2-in-1 cartridges that I got from Brunei).

Earthworm Jim, of course. Heh heh heh, 'Cow Launched'.

Landstalker had me glued to the TV for some months, too.

True Lies kicks ASS!

SKITCHIN! Ha ha, taste baseball bat, Latex! Oh, you want some too, Santa? Time to break out the nunchaku!

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
RE: Oh yeah, I forgot

My Favroites Games of all Time are

(in order of preference)

1. The Fallout Series

2. The Thief Series

3. Deus Ex

4. The Civilization/Alpha Centauri Series

I play a lot of games but these are the ones I found to be my favorites, games that I will never forget, Like a really good book, they all had style and imagination and Ingenuity in them. (Sigh). Few excellent games come out now a days, IMO these games surpass all boundaries of goodness and set new standards for computer games, IMO these are truly excellent games

Honorable Mention: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
(Does anybody know where to get this game?, I played it on my first computer and loved it but I no longer have it.)

Does anybody know where to get Wasteland? I REALLY would love to play this, I just can't find it.
RE: Star Control

DITTO!!!!!!Loved that game! What was your favorite ship?I used to love the Spathi and Sireen ships.:)The Mycon pod ships were cool too.But what I realy loved was you could never full explore that whole universe of systems before you had to try to stop the Ur-Quan advance,so the game could be different every time you played.
