That looked awful. I like how they used completely unrelated stock footage of african tribes

And the African guy sounded like a weeny caucasian dude :D

The female protagonist is too ugly.

The "I insist we cremate the bodies!"-guy is pretty funny. He says it twice in the trailer, wonder how many times he says it in the movie. And if he brings it up at every town meeting.

"Now, moving on to our current issues with the waterworks...Yes Jeff?"
"I insist that the most serious problem we have to deal with is cremating the bodies."

Check the other trailers on the list, they don't make fun movies like that anymore. I can't believe I'm contemporary of many of those movies, I'm really getting old...

I guess nobody missed the breasts in the ending of that trailer but somehow I feel it was all there. What can they possibly have left out? They even show how that dude who have a lot of lines die in that elevator!

This is an instructional video made by NATO on what to do in the event of the coming of the "RAPTURE" or Zombie holocaust. Too many people got into snack radius to those zombies even though they were heavily armed. The cleanly shaven girl obviously went mad at the end by taking off her shirt and painting her face with some voodoo shit (underpaid actress obviously).

I attended a 3 day course in the woods on what to do when the RAPTURE comes. Some guy invited us up for some hot cocoa at his cottage and to help him build it for the second coming of Christ. I and others declined him when we found out he had a penchant for buggery.

P.S. The girl was hot in that video. She was very recently shaven.

I heard about it only a few years ago, in a mag that was starting to be released in Europe (Cult Movies, i think it's the name of the thing). Never got to see the trailer, so thanks, another gem for me to find :)

I really enjoyed the Forbidden Zone clips. Gonna buy it on DVD asap! I love all the small details. Usually I hate musicals and shit like that but the Forbidden Zone is so fucked up... IT'S PERFECT! :D

(t3h Elfmans FTW!)

Herve Villichez AND the frog mask that strangled people from Dr. Phibes? !!! I have to check this out...

This has to be the best movie ever produced:

Hilarious stuff. The kitten jumping out of the old lady's stomach is brilliant.

You can't compare that sort of trash with the Forbidden Zone, though. I've got it on video, but I've watched it so many times, that most of the movie has changed into static and noise.
The Forbidden Zone is a masterpiece of camp and the grotesque.
One of the scenes that is etched into my brain is when Frenchy is shat out into the Sixth Dimension by a humongous arsehole. Brilliant.
Although 'completely' different, to me it's on par with a flick like Eraserhead. It's a shame that flicks like these didn't start a whole new movement, a new way of looking at things, a new way of shooting flicks, interpreting reality. The last flick I saw that was 'completely' in this sorta fashion and tradition was Pi. And that was already a long, long time ago.

Today's movies are like today's food:

Artificial and tasteless.

Though there is no extremly expensive deli-alternative for movies.
