Best weapon in Fallout 3?

I recently mad a video on what I think is the best weapon in Fallout 3.



All of my opinions are in the video, regardless if you don't want to watch it, I thought that the Lincoln's repeater was the best overall, but really of the weapons in the video are good. I especially like the Deathclaw Gauntlet, because it is overpowered against armoured enemies.

What do you think is the best weapon?

that repeater rifle in Point Lookout, because use 10mm ammo, wich is very easy to find.

Dart gun- once you get it all melee enemies and animals become a joke. Supermutants with melee, deathclaws, mirelurks, yao- guai and ghouls can't do anything to you.
It's also fairly easy to get (you can buy it at Tenpeny's along with most components). Darts are abundant and fairly cheap as they're considered junk and sold by Wolfgang, scavengers and other junk vendors.

Oh yeah, and I liked the Blackwater rifle from that DLC as well.

That's a good pick, never really thought about it. I bet super mutant behemoths are a piece of cake with that.

If we're going by effectiveness then it's the Metal Blaster. Outside of VATS, every beam of this laser shotgun can get a decent crit, which altogether adds up to incomparable damage output. It fires fast, has a sizeable ammo cap, and is accurate enough to be useful at mid-range. So this amounts to being able to one-hit or one-second kill anything with ease. Paulson's revolver is similar (for some inexplicable reason) but has shit range, and a janky refire rate.

The rest is subjective. Personally I enjoyed Blackhawk the most. Scoped 44 magnums are badass visually and audibly (Mmm juicy). Its the best option for sniping with its lovely scope and accuracy (fuck the Gauss rifle). At least until you can get Callahan's Magnum, but that's just a buffed version of the same thing. Overall it's just so damn satisfying to use in and out of scope.

Those are some good picks, and I heard that the Blackhawk was as powerful as the Lincoln's repeater in some ways. Regarding the Metal Blaster, somebody else educated me on that weapon and I'm thinking it probably should have been in the video. But again nobody puts points into luck.

My personal favorite is the Chinese Officer's Sword. I had a great swordfight with the leader of the Vampires, made even more epic by the fact that his sword was on fire and we dueled while surrounded by the corpses of his Family

But again nobody puts points into luck.

I do...always, in every game. It's still useful even with an unarmed/melee run in Fo and Fo2 where you eventually take slayer. Crit damage is just too valuable in my experience, especially with Fo3 and NV. It completely changes the weapon meta in those two.

Would agree with Lincoln's Repeater being my go to weapon for when s*** hits the fan.

My personal favourite is the Perforator for looks and feel. It just looks beautiful!

tbh i don't remember any of the weapons feeling significantly different from one another at all apart from the riot shotgun.

Which isn't even in FO3, though maybe you mean something different... But still, proves the point that they're not very memorable.

I remember that one, it's got the suppressor on it. Yeah, it looks nice, sounds nice, feels nice.
