Bethesda Softworks has opened a new Fallout section on their forums, with Fallout 3 General and Past Fallout Games categories. In addition, Bethesda has a new community manager in Matt “Gstaff” Grandstaff.

Register and be heard on Bethesda's official Fallout 3 forum.

Thanks to StarWars and Briosafreak for bringing this to light.

Maybe we should go over en masse and start demanding that they give us some more info on Fallout 3 and..............

Then again, nah

Yay! That means fun, right? :D
Well, i wrote that i don't like Oblivion, are they gonna kill me now? xD

They'll probably ban your ass and let your name drop into obscurity.

They chose the days I was away to open the forum, it has to be on purpose... o.k. let's go and read the thing...

The topics asking what is fallout are great! ;)
But the devs are actually posting there
Let's wait what will happen next! :)

Registered there... And here for good measure.

Oh God "what is Fallout" I already want to leave.

I would personally request that anyone going to their forums from ours act in a mature manner, and debate contentious points reasonably. It is up to our members to prove that we are not a group of fanatics, that our positions are solid. Basically, help dispel the popular lore about NMA.

They have bars which show the warning level of each user in % 8)
And bad language gets censored directly xD
That board is a lot of fun!

I wonder who will be the first person from NMA to be banned there... what? It's inevitable. :D

Nah. I wonder if they'll really read and take the posts into consideration, or they'll just give alot of milk and cookies to ease the frustrations.

Well this is going to be interesting...

Well, something big is obviously coming from Beth pretty soon, as they reopened the forums and set up the site.

"Oblivion was awesome and definitely groundbreaking" - im too nervous for their forum...

Knowing how rabid, irrational, and immature the hard-core Fallout fans are (see Glittering Gems of Hatred), I wouldn't have opened the Fallout 3 forums until the last possible minute if I was Bethesda. Admitting that I am a fan of Fallout these days is like saying I am a raving lunatic who hates everything that isn't Fallout. So I just say that I enjoyed Fallout back in the day.

Each Elder Scrolls game has been better than the last. The end of each chapter leaves me gasping for air, clawing at the screen, begging my computer for more, to which it does not reply! It leaves terrible marks on the monitor, which is why I wear the mittens.

So if Fallout 3 is going to interrupt the flow of Elder Scrolls games, I'm a bit confused about whether I should be excited about it. My nostalgia for Fallout has been soiled by the Fallout community. I can only hope that Bethesda knows what it is doing by prematurely opening the Fallout 3 forums. Maybe they are trying to create a new Fallout community, one that doesn't foam at the mouth, before marketing begins.

Wait, I thought someone just said they reopened them before I did? If not, then I mean 'opened'. I'm very off today.
