Eh. It's not as bad as some might claim it is, but it's definitely not the best Mad Max movie.

/edit: And yes, I edited the poll because fuck you that's why.

Beyond Thunderdome suffers from the same problems as Fury Road. There’s just not enough homoeroticism. The first two are the only true Mad Max films in this regard.

That is entirely true.
Next Mad Max spin-off just needs to be about Gayboy Berzerkers and Smegma Crazies.

It does have the most Fallout aesthetics of the Mad Max movies I will give it that. I compiled a list of "Fallout-core" films to watch before and during my fallout marathons and Road Warrior+Thunderdome were on there, but Fury Road was not.
I'm curious to know why you don't Fury Road "Fallout: core". It has the same asthetics as Road Warrior and Thunder dome to me. Also what are Fallout-core movies you could recommend besides mad max because now I'm interested.

This is current year. You can't present a gay man, woman as a bad guy.

Fury Road is too high octane in terms of pacing. The design philosophy of the sets and costumes are post-nuclear but not Fallout. The closest I can see are the White Legs and the War Boys. The pacing and style of the film are also not very Fallout.

As for Fallout core films, I made a thread

It's not! The first half is good but when he end up with the kids in that valley the movie turns for the worse. The car chase with the train in the end is not as thrilling as in the second movie.

The first Mad Max is brutal, his wife and kid, his best friend and even his dog gets killed by psycos. The second movie is also pretty dark featuring rape and a his dog getting killed. However in the second half of the third movie nothing bad happens because there are kids in it. It's not thrilling to watch.
