BioShock

Doom ran good enough, but totally crappy when compared to Quake 4 for instance. (Q4 = better than D3 graphics wise)

so don't stare at the hardware req's of D3. it's crap.

however, Bioshock has a shitload of water animations, which are pretty demanding on the GPU & CPU. it'll depend on how well that scales...

yeah, appearantly is just costs resources.

seemed kinda lame to me, but you cant really judge until you see the full picture. seems like you can hack security droids into following you, so you might be able to do more than just arbitrarily shutting down the station.

it's possible he required no real 'hacking' action because he had a hacking implant doing it for him?
 
Seeing the video again, it seems that appears a hacking option in menu. I suppose taht you could "pass" the security station if your skill is high enough, but not in the way you could do it in SS2.

Considering the fact that they've said one of the things the 'advisor' system would say was along the lines of 'Maybe you should try hacking' if you never do that, I'm pretty sure it'll be in there.
 
I don't know what video you all are talking about but I just saw a big daddy fight video from the game (on www.gametrailers.com under BioShock X06 Trailer) and that looks like the creepiest thing I've ever seen. Can anyone tell me if any of that is from the game itself? If it is, then it will definitely be creepier than SS2

The problem is they are showing the game in Xbox360, there is not any PC video :cry:
 
Yea the new trailer (09/27) was the coolest trailer i have seen in a very loong time! This game look very promising indeed.
