No, it's just that now I have an intern job, I've become very aware of the work ethics. And I'm very pissed when someone neglects them.
We'll see how long you'll keep that ethic once you start noticing that you're just a resource for your employer to use and abuse as they see fit?
Then maybe it's time to find a different industry if your own work ethic is that poor, or you might understand that in order to be regarded as exceptional, you should do exceptional work. Funny how that seems to work. It's how you can afford to work in an entertainment medium. You either stand out or you're nowhere near the front of the pack.
It is equally damaging to a project and a developer's own reputation when they just stop development without any prior warning.
If one of their best designers has that kind of teamwork skills (you know, something rather IMPORTANT TO DESIGN), then that spells trouble for the project.
It's the excuses of yours that leads to jobs being outsourced, because for some reason people in other countries have a better work ethic and work for much less. Please tell me how "lazy and paid more" looks more attractive than that.
What's the over/under in years on waking up from the work Matrix?
So how long have you been working at a position-filler job?
Once you wake up, you'll still keep the same work ethic, unfortunately, you'll be asking yourself in a Metropolis sort of way:
why suffer to make others rich? so they can eventually downsize you and further upsize their profits?
Disregarding the rather insane context of your drivel in regards to this discussion, I have to wonder what leads you to believe your statements of the above. Was it your personal job experience with "half-ass" being an acceptable industry standard (i.e. fast food), or was it your experience as an Interplay investor? Your brand of illogic seems to be right on par with what finally flushed them down the shitter.
Any other pity words of advice, or can I stop laughing now?
