Broken Steel Trailer

Great. Taking off the trailer and the 1.5 patch causing a crapload of crashes and instability. What will you think of next, Bethesda? :x
 
Awesome, thanks Bewitched! Hmm...now I'm a bit worried though, it seems like Broken Steel is just another area separate from the rest of the wasteland. I was hoping it'd add more changes to the general wasteland itself, like how there were suddenly Enclave camps all over the place after they captured the purifier...
 
Wow, if I didn't know what Fallout 3 was I'd think that it was a FPS from that trailer, yet again. Was the Pitt the only part of Fallout 3 which had a trailer which actually had the player talk to someone, or am I imagining that as well?

So apparently the Incenerator shoots fireballs... I have to say that I'm disappointed, though certainly not surprised. If they wanted a ranged weapon which lit people on fire they could have simply made explosive rounds that are filled with napalm (or something of the sort) instead of standard explosives.

Let me present you my short analysis of this one. Just like I written in the comment on YouTube:
0:30. Looks like you are actually going to fly Vertibird. Or so it looks like. And it looks like you're going to visit Raven Rock (or what's left of it) at the beginning of this DLC with Liberty Prime. Then Liberty Prime is destroyed. Maybe it's what this achievement "Death From Above" is all about - and a reason to make this "Tesla Cannon"?
It would actually make sense: then, in the second quest, "Shock Value", judging by the achievement name, you would build "Tesla Cannon". And in the last one, "Who Dares Wins", you would use it in Presidential Metro Line and Adams Base.

Seems it will be better than "Op: Anchorage" and "The Pitt" to me. Ofc it will still be F3 style. (And yes, you may bash me - I liked F3).

Hell yeah, that alone would make this DLC worth it! Hopefully mods won't be required for it either, like how you needed a mod to make the Chimera tank from OA drivable.
 
If it's not just a scene you will have to watch.
Anyway. This tank mod was a lot of fun. I'd like to see my own Vertibird crushing on the edge of the map :d

Am pondering suicide.

It really feels like an FPS in every way. It's like a trailer for Halo or something.

Killing yourself for a terrible game expansion is not the solution.

There are plenty of crappy things that make you ponder if this cursed little mud ball is some sort of sadistic joke by some higher being, but don't let crap like this get to you.

First thing to do is not waste any of your earned money on stuff like this, incompetence should be punished, not rewarded.
Second, tell as much people as you know not to buy this either, convince them if you have to.
 
First off...is that supposed to be a DLC FOR A FUCKING RPG ?
It looks like a FPS, a FPS. There is no sign of RPG in the bloody trailer. All we see is lasers, a giant robot and explosions.
Are they total idiots ? What the hell ? Jesus. If i didnt know better i would say that fallout 3 is a fullblown FPS with DLC .
And secondly, the Ron Perlman lines sucked , and they sucked deeper and harder than a hucker who has been given 1000 $ for the best blowjob in human history.
 
While the trailer feels meh, I'm looking forward to seeing the bits and pieces included. Funny, Fallout 3 as a sum of it's parts is less Fallout than individual elements.
 
I'll watched it without sound and it looks boring.
 
I could accept it as a pure FPS/TPS if the gunplay/combat were competent and satisfying. Since they're neither of those two things, not even close, what are you left with? FO3 requires zero intelligence or skill to complete - LCD all the way.
 
I thought this was Fallout 3, not Average FPS Trying To Be Like An RPG With Slight References To The Fallout-series. :roll:
