I haven't played this game online as my PC isn't that great and I don't subscribe to Xbox Live Gold but I have been playing Counterstrike Condition Zero...

So, is MW2 multiplayer anything like CounterStrike?

Well the Search and Destory mode is CS. People just seem more scared to do anything in this game when you play hardcore mode. Seeing how their K/D is ar risk so it ends up becoming a Waiting contest.
