Cars and bikes...

What do you people drive? I've got a 1993 Isuzu Trooper, very nice, takes me places you wouldn't believe, and a 2005 1/2 Audi A4 Quattro.

How do you like your A4? I used to have an A6 and pretty much liked it so I was thinking about getting an A4 as its smaller and sportier but I got talked out of it. People started telling me horror stories of VW cars and I changed my mind. I do still kind of like A4's and think I might get it.

Fantastic car, love the 2.0 Turbo I4 and the Quattro. Never had a problem, VW products are usually quite reliable, and the interiors can't be beat. I also invested in a STaSIS center diff (for a rearward torque bias) and some adjustable coilovers.

But yeah, awesome car.

Question: thinking of buying new or used? And what's your price range?

I've beeen contemplating getting a Pontiac G8

Not bad for 30k:

6.0L V8 w/ 361hp 385 ft-lb torque

6 speed automatic

0-60 in 5.5 seconds

I love the looks and the affordability, the engine/powertrain is an added bonus. And yes, those who live in australia will recognize this as a Holden VE Commodore, and Brits will recognize it as a Vauxhall VXR8.

funny... in europe you cant find any publicity around cars without being slapped with CO² emissions and whatnot. here i cant even find it even if i'm looking for it.

CO2 is one of the measures by which cars are rated on polution. i was wondering how much emissions your car had (or well, the car you'd like to have), but couldnt find it.

Jeez...WTF.

Building a Volvo Amazon at the moment, going to get a Turbocharged 2.3L Engine built for about 400-500HP. It's a labour of love!

Now, to just get a new job. *Sigh*

I don't drive here, but when I go home, I got the Lexus RX330 at home. I'll probably trade that in for a newer model next year I go back.

I have an old Buick LeSabre and an older Corvette (1984). The Buick serves its purpose and the Corvette is a fun toy. It's good to have a backup car because yours WILL break sooner or later. I've also got a Toyota MR2 but that's off the road right now, I just don't have the cash to keep 'em all going.
