Childhood / teenage celebrity crushes

Crush on fictional characters, eh? When I was a teenager, I had crush on Caitlin O Shaunnesy from Airwolf TV series. Not only her face is cute, but her attitude also is. And attitude turns me more than look.

But would you believe me if I told you I had such crush in my adulthood?

It started around 1996-1997. I was a university student at that time, and I was pretty active student (student cooperative, frats, etc). But I was also crazy about Babylon Five TV series at that time. Yes, Babylon Five is the best sci-fi TV series IMO. In fact, I quietly sneaked out of an emergency student meeting because I didn't want to miss the final showdown between the Shadows and the Vorlons (which ended with Sheridan and Delenn told them to take a hike). I was in charge of the souvenir shop, and there was a TV in the back room of the shop, so there I went. The chairman of the student cooperative wanted to kill me for that, but what the hell, nothing gets in the way between me and my favorite TV series! :P

It was the first time I realized that Ambassador Delenn, after growing some hair, is beautiful. However, I didn't quite pay attention to the fact, because I was pretty busy at that time. Besides, it was the Cthulhu Mythos elements of Babylon Five that glued me to the screen.

Fast-forward to the year 2002. I had a crush with the receptionist at work. She is a "nice girl" type. She is diligent, strong-willed, and pretty much uptight. But behind the stern face, she is actually sweet, caring, and full of emotion. Anyway, I was the "bad boy" at work. The big boss never cared that I always late for work, as long as I got the job well done. The receptionist, on the other hand, insisted that rules are rules. Naturally, we clashed several times. But then, I developed crush on her. She did not return my feelings, because I was a notorious womanizer at work (again, the boss didn't care as long as I got the job done). But I had crush on her nonetheless.

It was also the time when I watched Babylon 5 re-runs on DVD, and at that time, I realized, that the receptionist I had crush on really looks like Delenn.

Yes, not only her face, her mouth, and her chin look like those of Delenn, but her attitude is almost like Delenn. Oh, she is not an inspiring leader like Delenn is, but you know what I mean. Diligent and strong-willed at one side, while sweet and caring on the other side.

I was not sure, but it seems I tried to compensate my one-sided crush on the receptionist. Thus, my crush on Delenn.

Now the receptionist had married, got two kids (one son, one daughter). I'm no longer a womanizer, and I have been a more responsible person --and that's the reason why she likes me now. We have become good friends. However, our relationship is strictly friendship. Even when I was still a remorseless womanizer, I always saw her with respect. I don't know why, but I always did. Furthermore, I have managed to suppress my feelings for her, probably because I respect her too much to mess around with her marriage.

(dammit, I always respect her!)

But strangely, I still have crush on Delenn.

I have the entire run of Babylon 5 on DVD, and I have been watching it again. And the more I watch it, the stronger my crush on Delenn becomes. Yes, yes, I know she is a goddamn fictitious character, but I couldn't help but being crazy about her. And while she is beautiful, it is her attitude that turns me on.

Anyway, I had lunch with the receptionist last week (she is now a secretary). I jokingly called her Delenn, and she blushed. She watched Babylon Five too. It was an innocent lunch, by the way.

Finally, here is the pictures of the most beautiful character in science fiction: Ambassador Delenn of the Minbari Federation.

Dude very few women I would consider what I call "elegant".

You know they are super beautifal and fine and have no need to be slutty to prove it. Natural beauty beats stupid hoochie anyday.

And Jennifer Connely is just one of those dames.

Yeah Jennifer Connely definetly, shes just beatifull.

As far as fictional characters go maybe Lois Lane in the old superman series, and... uh... Dolores from who framed roger rabbit.

In that case you need to watch this:

I love this chick. I wish she was in more movies playing the tough girl role. she is still beautiful.

Jennifer Connely has some huge hogans but she does'nt show them off. She is a real beauty and i agree with all comments on her. These are the type of women i go for. Effortless beauty. To grow old with.
