Yeah.. since I mentioned the "no more issues" on this forum, it appears they've returned.. looks like someone's monitoring what I'm writing on the internet..
as that was the first time i mentioned the issue beeing gone, and now poof it's back agin.. anyways router rebooted, hope You'll manage to download stuff b4 my router is fucked with agin..

Ok, gonna tackle this a bit later my old man is sitting on youtube watching some useless crap agin, you don't want to wake a sleeping bear do you, as that is what would happen when i'd state the internet break was a planned one :p

Server's been reseted, should be fine for a while.. use while it lasts..

It was for a while, but now its down again. Isn't there another more reliable way to share these files? Doesn't seem its worth the trouble of booting the server every week.
 
none that i know of that'd cost me *nothing* like the current situaton we deal with..

the fact is it's not even a server it's just a ssd drive pluged inot my router which has (the router) an built in ftp server function..

i get the domain from a cost free domain host, and that's literally it..

to further complicate matters i won't be able to reboot the router until 9th march.. as that's when my brother leaves back to UK.. I'm curently in debt to him and wouldn't want to piss him off, so the internet connection has to be up 24/7..

no it doesn't .. I'd have to reupload this whole crap every few days, because the links would die off.. or pay to upkeep them.. on the other hand, now i have only one deadline every 30 days i have to refresh the timer for my free domain name expiration, and that's it, plus ocasionallly cold booting my router, no additional costs whatsoever.. if anyone is willing to host my stuff on their own and pay any nessecary hosting fees on their own feel free to grab my stuff and reupload wherever you want, but i'm not paying a damn cent more for the work i did.. already the electricity bill for running the upscale rig often is killing me, so I'm not delving into any more additional costs regarding this..

Appreciate all your work, man. Don't want you doing more than you can right now. I don't mind waiting a little more to download the files if thats what it takes for this not to be heavier burden for you.

chill.. my bro ain't going to hang in here forever.. he'll be back in UK before 10th march.. now since i recently wasted his laptop, and am tasked with making sure it's back to tip top shape, i don't want to push my luck with the rest of the family, by pissing my bro even more.. he uses my household internet 24/7 ( even when he sleeps he listens to some podcasts, and can miraculously awake himself when the podcast gets interrupted) so as i said i don' want to push my luck by rebooting the router now.. so have some understanding to my situation and a bit of patience it's 9 days it's not like it's forever.. now since i have nothing better to do i'll go back to lvling up and gearing my D2R online characters..
