Name pretty much explains it. Post pics of cool comic strips, whether Calvin and Hobbes, or Marvel comics. I don't want to clutter the general discussion thread with a bunch of my nerdy comic scans/pics, so here we go.

The Fraction run of Hawkeye won awards for reasons. The sense of humor was one of them. In this case she is making a reference to a classic California based team called the Champions, with those heroes as members.

Well considering they were up against a tyrannical genocidal maniac who had gained omnipotence and had just slaughtered the mightiest heroes of the Earth and the Cosmos without flinching, I'd say the grimacing is appropriate.

How do you think Cap America's Stand Up routine would've been like? American stand up comedians tend to be rather dull (with very few and very marked exceptions).

In all seriousness, it's been a long time since I've read the Infinity Gauntlet but if I remember correctly Thanos uses the Gauntlet in an attempt to ascend to a higher plane and become an abstract celestial entity, whilst in the process of transforming one of the cosmic powerhouses still alive manages to snatch the gauntlet from his hand. It may have been one of his subordinates, I don't really remember.

How do you beat someone like that anyway.

Thanos was betrayed by his step-daugther Nebula who snatched it from him while he is fighting off cosmic gods. She then gets her ass handed to her and everything goes back to normal with Warlock having the Gauntlet. The Infinity Gauntlet was actually pretty well done. It's only a few issues, so download it somewhere.


I just finished reading the newest Moon Knight run. That is the way to go with the character in the future. I liked how most of his supporting cast have abandoned him. He is batshit crazy after all. His Bendis run wasn't that great, but the one before that was pretty good...

Yes, Marvel NOW Moon Knight is certainly excellent.

Unfortunately Volume 3 doesn't come out until October.
