computer programs to simulate infectious diseases

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I know you fellow NMAers have tons of places to get unusual software and the like. I'm looking for a program that you can use to model infectious disease and ways they could mutate in a real world manner. My wife is going to school for infectious disease research, and I'd like to get her a program like this for Christmas.
