Checked out my disc now and saw that this is correct. "Substance" is the game + vr missions for pc 'n stuff.

MGS 2 Substance was perfectly playable on PC with keyboard after I customized the settings (in the tool outside the game) to mix of WSAD and numpad, with space for first person view.I finished the game in this configuration twice on normal difficulty.
Dead Space I finished also without any problem on mouse and keyboard and it played perfectly in 60fps with no lag or acceleration (have intellimouse explorer 3.0), after I disabled VSync from menu and enabled it in nVidia drivers.
Oddboxx is shit and hopefully they will fix it.
