Okay. Then the obivous question is what kind of deviant would backstab PC gaming by buying a PS2?


I would'nt touch it. I don't want to play with someone on a 56k.
 
I got my Playstation 2 as a Christmas present?

And I've had a lot more fun with it than I have on a computer in the past 5 years or so.

Seriously, though, fucking stop with the PC-platform thing. It's annoying.

I have an XBOX myself.

There have been some good games for the PS2, but there's been more for the PC IMHO if you keep an open mind and have the patience for certain kinds of games.
 
I agree. If I had the money to fix up my PC I would definitely do it. The fact is I have very little cash to spend on things like that, so console gaming is the best choice for me.
 
No. HOTU is the best choice for you in that unfortunate situation. Save up the money, invest in something, or, if you're like me, save it up for a massive whore feast in Amsterdam. But most people are'nt like me.
 
I have a Dell. It was cheap. Although soon it won't be a Dell any longer, as I'm going to jam a new video card in it.

Got an Xbox too. My brother has a PS2, so I'm going to buy him San Andreas when it's out in less than a month.
 
If there was no console market, there would be no games produced which I have no access to because I don't have the console.

And I don't feel I can justify buying a console. What, a device just to spend more time playing? Like hell.

PC gaming is the only way to go because I can always say "I need my PC for work." :P
 
I also prefer PC over console gaming any day. The lack of the ability to MOD as well as a lack of support online is a HUGE drawback for console games...

Oh and is it just me or does it seem like PC games are made for everyone where's console games seem to focus more on kids?

The average gamer is 28 years old.
And that includes console gamers.

I agree. Those are some of the reasons why I do not play console games anymore. Also, PC has better hardware and is more easily upgradible but the upgrades can be diverse (different brand parts, overclocking, etc.).
