Crazy gaming device, WTF?

Heh, I remember years ago that some game magazine ran a content in which gamers could send in ideas for what they thought to be the next gen accessory for a console.

One of these entries happened to be something similar to this gadget, if its real, allowing gamers to experience the simulated forces their character experiences during the game like getting a blow against the head of a kick in the ribs.

I guess the time to make this a reality has finally come, now you to can experience the pain Gordon Freeman experience when an opponent shoots him, or the forces a driver experiences when a car crashes.
Its all about making games more realistic.

Mind you if I want to experience realistic pain I'll just provoke people, it real and absolutely free.

Another one of the gadgets back then was some mask through which gamers could experience the scents and smells of an ingame enviroment.
I wonder when we get that?

Gah reminds me of back in high school. A friends mother had purchased one of those miracle devices that were supposed to stimulate your muscles through electric shocks *rolls eyes*. Boy did we have a hilarious time shocking ourselves during school.

That and this and the immersion is a fact! A must have for fallout 3!

I'm going to wait for the first person to die from a result of that thing.

It'll be both funny and depressing!
knowing the internet, it wont take long before some lowlife attaches the thing to his dick and posts a vid about it...

You better not play Boogerman or some game with tear gas while that thing is on.

"Dude, put this thing on your forehead. Your headache will be gone in just a couple of seconds..."

All of a sudden I'm glad there's no multiplayer Fallout.

"Haha I just shot you in the arm!"
"Fine I'll just go for a groin shot."
"AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Being set on fire would be even worse...or what about drowning in a FPS? Yikes this device sounds scary not entertaining. I mean a big part of the joy of games is doing what you could never do in real life and part of that is from doing things you could, but shouldn't do.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller
