Yeah, but it you can play on both spectres in both Fallout games. You can play as a Friend of All Things Diplomat who manages to survive by running, sneaking and talking. And win though sheer wit, wealth and stealthness. Or you can play as some Psycho whose method of seach for the Waterchip/GECK/Mutant Army/Arroyo is killing everyone in a town, followed by robbing their cold, dead cadavers, then scouring the area for the WaterChip/GECK/Mutant Army/Arroyo until coming to the conclusion that it's not there. And so he/she goes off to the next city. Rinse and repeat until the whole region ends scoured of life, all cities are dead or burning, anything not nailed or ON FIRE (or maybe even those were) stole and sold/dumped/used and all the survivors are either using the remaining weapons to try and kill the Psycho or decided to leave for somewhere else, probrably don't even able to sleep anymore due to the sheer death once saw.
