Cyberpunk 2077

I am waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 myself, but I don't want any multiplayer whatsoever.

I am currently replaying witcher 3 and if I had to play with another person it would break the immersion and get rid of all the difficulty.

I just hope the only multiplayer will be a deathmatch or something. At most COOP. Now I am worried about it. At least we can how long it takes for star citizen in comparison

I disagree. A PnP campaign simulator would be great multiplayer.

The problem I see is that, the multiplayer requires a lot of resources on its' own. I would rather have an amazing RPG first, before they focus on it.

I am not against multiplayer on its' own, but it has to make sense. If they can make it work, that's great. However it is one of those features I really don't care about in this game.

Looking forward to it.
I got time to go through all the Witchers at least.

Should also do a cyberpunk RPG to get me in the mood for it

PnP players might disagree with ya, as CDPR stated that they'd like to make 2077 as close to original tabletop rpg as possible.

Besides, if they also make possible prinitng 2020 PnP character into the game, what's good it for in single player-only? Fapping on stats? I don't think so.

You have got a point. I am just afraid that they will spread themselves too thin. I said it before, I am not against multiplayer I just want it to make sense.

There are examples of it working like Divinity Orginal Sin, so it can work. All I am saying is that, I don't want them to mess up by adding multiplayer.

A braindance is a new form of media in the 21st Century, which consists of a digital recording of a person's experience. The viewer can stream a braindance directly into his neural system via a special brain augmentation, called a BD player. Braindances allow the viewer to experience all brain processes registered, including emotions, muscle movements and all stimuli perceived by the recording person.

The braindances made by megacorporations have relatively simple and attractive themes, allowing the viewer, for example, to feel the full experience of an explorer with all the appropiate thrills, sweats, smells, views, sounds and even the drive and curiousity that pushes some men to go beyond the horizon in defiance of fear and physical weakness. But there is also a darker and more controversial side to braindances - because some recordings are created illegally in the underground, free of megacorp oversight, You can enter the mind of a serial killer, seeing not only the monstrosities he performs, but also living out his lust to kill and the fulfillment of that desire.

All kinds of these emoitions and stimuli can be achieved from the comfort of an armchair for a reasonable price, which makes BDs the most popular form of mass entertainment in 2077.You haven’t experienced the latest New Hollywood recording? You’re nobody! The streets live with braindances, everyone just got crazy and wants to be a part of this new entertainment fad. Some people push it even too far and they cannot stop living other people’s lives. If you’re not linked to a braindance right now, you are probably discussing what happened to you during your last session. Of course, just like every great new cultural movement, BDs have people who criticize them. Just watch these two guys arguing about this phenomena.

If they did do multiplayer, I'd like it to be like dayz in the sense that its open world and player interraction/RP opportunities are presented as the defacto and dejuro experiences to be provided or at least the ambitions of the devs. Not just free for all death match.

I'm actually thinking, does anyone here want to do a Cyberpunk 2020 campaign?

I don't mind doing it.
I've not done it before so we'll need a test run or so.

Plus it means I'll need to get an understanding of the lore and so.
Then we're good. Though we could use more participants.
