Dead Money worst ending ending (spoilers)

This ghoul has seen it all
Well I just finished Dead Money, I liked it a lot, specially ELijah's subtle Take That against people complaining about the quest marker, but now reading on the Vault, aparently there is a "Side With ELijah, Doom the World" ending, but I just couldn't find a way for Elijah to talk to me, he comes down walking, if he sees me he just gets hostile and I have to kill him, does anyone know how to get thsi ending? or is it bugged?

I think it might be a cut ending. If it was bugged like the followers of apocalypse good ending, then the vault would at least have a mention of that.

I remember having Elijah asking if want to join the baddies' club, hm. Though it's been a while since I played DM...

It probably depends on how you've handled everyone before you actually get down into the vault.

I tried multiple times to side with him, hoping for an option to "save" him (even though such an option wouldn't make sense as to the nature of the character) and failed because the companions came along and wanted him dead.
I think it's just because I saved all the companions instead of killing them like he said, but I haven't tried it the other way around yet.

I'm sure it's possible given the fact that MCA mentions that you're able to side with him, like in FO1 with The Master, right here: http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?automodule=blog&blogid=1&showentry=144
There's a few other things I'm happy with and always wanted to do, and I'm glad DLC allows for experimentation with this. Having an opening narration movie per location is something I've wanted ever since running Van Buren pen and paper games at Black Isle (and thanks to Bethesda for being on board with that), reactive end slides per DLC, having a "join the bad guy Fallout 1 style end movie" (which I missed ever since joining the Master's Army in Fallout 1, so we put it in DLC1 to allow the player to join Elijah)
Obviously possible.

I might try next weekend, going through Dead Money again, but killing the three companions, maybe I will use my Legion Female character for that, it would really help to have some more bad karma.

Fuck, the amount of requirements to get the worst ending is huge, you have to be vilified by the NCR (easy with my Legion playthrough) you should have explore every single dialogue tree with Veronica, kill Dog/God, Christine and Dean and then choose the right dialogue, no wonder why people thought it was a cut ending.

Did you try to end New Vegas with bad karma, so Ron can narrate how a chosen faction support you because they fear you?

Is the same, a nightmare to do!
