Fallout 3 I wrote off when they banned me from their forum, and Oblivion just sucks.(I really tried to play it and upgraded my computer just to play it and I was disapointed)

Writing off a game because a moderator who is certainly removed from the creative process of the game is a shit idea.

What he said.

Honestly, goffy59, I'd be surprised you got banned from their forum, god knows you don't get banned for nothing.

Diablo... how I wasted so many hours whacking demon spawn, roaming the dungeon in search of uber gears and realise this game is a waste of my time.

It's fun for the first few try but later on the game can be really tedious. Just like Oblivion

I can say the same about D2... But, I can say the same about any game. If you see value in the time spent, then there is no problem. I'd say you got your monies worth. Oblivion... Well, I did not get 4 bucks worth...

I never really played any of Blizzards games, except for warcraft II back when I was still young and fairly recently, Diablo II, which I must say I feel stupid for not buying sooner.. worth every penny!

I'm definitly looking forward to seeing what Blizzard is working on..

You're all wrong. It will be niether Diablo 3 or World of Diablo...it will be WORLD OF STARCRAFT!...and for the first time I might really give MMORPG's a try.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Wow, this is a late reply but I see a flaw in your plan... How will you ever spawn more overlords?!?!?

People from the fansite http://www.diablo3.com/ were at Blizzcon. One of them announced:

A rep from Blizzard just sent me notice that there would be no more announcements at BlizzCon tomorrow (Saturday), so for those of you (ie: all of you) who were hoping that this would be the day that Diablo 3 was finally confirmed, I'm sorry to inform you that you'll have to continue to wait.

So, no Diablo 3 yet...

i dont really see the need for a diablo 3 since the first ones werent so thick on story and WOW pretty much delivers a similar game mechanic ...

i really hope it will be a new IP

Bah! beh! wha! ichg?! -Of course there needs to be a new Diablo3! Besides "WoW is teh ghay" as Jeremy from Pure Pwnage likes to say. I never did care for WoW compared to other MMORPGS. Diablo2 for me is quite different and a third installment I think would be welcomed by a great many.

WoW delivers similar game mechanics? Funny, somehow during the considerable amount of time I played WoW, I never got that sense (I also played a considerable amount of both Diablos). Now if WoW did play more like Diablo, I might not have quit it. Diablo 1 and 2, the gameplay and treasure-hunting aspect addicted me. In WoW, it was mostly the people I met and developed friendships with that prompted me to stay as a long as I did.

I would be quite happy to see a Diablo 3, but I'd also be just as happy to see Blizzard doing a new IP. WoW is the closest Blizzard has come to doing "wrong," in my view, but then you can hardly blame them for milking such a huge cash cow. Besides, it was fun for a while, even if mostly because of the people.

Oh, and I happen to kinda like Diablo's story. Granted, it's not heavily developed through the game, but I'm not going to argue that it's a masterpiece of game storytelling.
