Do you think Set could’ve survived the destruction of Necropolis or not?

Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
I’ve been thinking of writing a fanfic where Set, the ghoul leader from Fallout 1, survives the destruction of his city and moves onto greener pastures to find a new life.

What do you guys imagine Set would’ve done if he did survive Necropolis? I’d likely set my fanfic around the time of New Vegas, and I’m interested in your guys’s input.

Tried to set up a gig somewhere as a boss/leader. Run a slaver gang or something. Anywhere he could boss people around. I think the fact we haven't heard of his ugly mug is probably because it got vaporized by the Unity.

I can't picture him living too long. When you are a gang leader, it is likely that you run into a stronger opposition, one day or another. I wouldn't imagine the most hostile ghouls or super-mutants surviving more than a century.

I think that he would have been carelessly over aggressive, and wound up surrounded... just like the Vault 13 Overseer.

Set always seemed like an bossy guy. The kind that doesn't like being anywhere he ins't in charge of. Set has to be the number one.

I think the Reservation would be a good place for him, whatwith the whole Ghoul Supremacy thing they got going on, but he would't enjoy the whole Personality Cult of Wilhelm Clark thing forever. Reservation is like Ghoul North Korea. He would probably try and take over.

Personally, I would have him move elsewhere the games don't cover. Maybe find a way for Ghouls to "surpass the norms" as he says.

By the time of New Vegas, a survivor like Set could be anywhere.
