Normally I enjoy (most) cracked.com articles, but this one is just... Meh. The author takes an amusing clip and then spends an inordinate amount of effort basically screaming "this shit is funny". Yeah it is, but you're not.

Also, I don't have a problem with offensive humor (tshirthell is a-ok by me), but I'm looking hard and simply not finding "funny" here, just a dude trying too hard.

Your opinions?
 
It was funny, but the clip is REALLY old. Like, 3-4 years old at least. And Seanbaby's article are generally quite "meh".
 
I thought it was very funny.

And yeah that clip is old, they showed us that in JROTC.

Not a single nerve even tried to get out of it's chair to send a signal to my brain to say that it was at least slightly funny... What's there to laugh at? apparently those iraqi's weren't very good at being gay american soldiers, so what?
I can find a lot of really ugly, juvenile, shitty humor funny, but there has to be something to actually laugh at.
 
The article does try a bit hard but I found humor in it, the video however the first time I saw it was hysterical.

It takes a very special uncoordinated moron to be unable to do a side straddle hop. I cannot wait to see what happens to that country after we pull our forces out completely. Let us hope those Iraqi recruits were not an indication of things to come for them.
 
The vid is old, but simply hysterical.

This isn't making fun of a nation. It's making fun of a bunch of obvious idiots. Even I could do that exercise, for crying out loud.

Dumb people do not deserve any pity.

The article is stupid and fails by overanalysing a simple humorous video. It's called explaining the joke, and is a tried and true measure to kill the joke.

It's a lot more probable that those guys did't get the idea of the exercise. One of them looked like he was trying to dance.
 
com on guys you tube is FULL with videos about army stupidity.

Some remember the canadian dud with the french anti tank weapon?

The soldier kicked back (pretty hard ...) by the artilery gun recoil?

One could easily make a page about US, German, British or what other kind of nation and their soldiers in funny/hilarious/silly situations.

Meh, that whole site just tries way too hard with every article, it always sounds like they're trying to appeal to this, bran muffin IQ kind of XTREEEME meathead demographic.
 
Not a fan of these types of sites. Never found them funny. Try too hard yes.

every time i see this vid, i can't help but think that the camera man picked the spot and signaled them to land there for that very purpose.

SAS usually don't wear those uniforms nor carry that type of gear. they're Royal Marines.
