I just realized that yesterday would be the 16th anniversary of the time when Fallout 3: Van Buren's Tech Demo was leaked to The Internet, by none other than this very website! And ever since I first heard about this fact, I've always wondered how that came to be. You know, like how the heck did somebody get the file of the Tech Demo in the first place? And who exactly did it? No seriously, who had access to Interplay's archives!? :look:

So yeah, does anyone know the full story behind this? I mean this is DEFINITELY a huge madlad moment in my book! :clap: :ok:
 
The people who most likely know the most about this are no longer active on here. (Sander, Brother None, maybe others) @Kilus is practically ancient and still active but not sure if he can offer any insight.
 
Back then we still had contact with the devs so that would be the safe bet.
