I need honest opinions, does Bethesda know they messed up Fallout 4 and will attempt to do better when Fallout 5 comes around?

If you mean by mest up, lots of possitive (official) reviews, millions of bought copies and an incredible amount of profit? Yeah. They know about that.
Seriously though? Who knows. As bad as F4 is, the people working at Bethesda are I guess for the most part normal people. But I would not be surprised if they are completely convinced about their work, what they do and that their formula so far, is a great success. So why should they change this all of sudden? I have my doubts about it.
