Does it look good for indie post-apocaliptic game?

The grass is way too dark on this terrain texture.
 
Not a designer, but the way i see it, the ground and the things sticking out of it look like plastic. You can't have a landmass that looks the same at every inch of it, varry the textures, surface height etc. The contrast between things on the screen goes from super dark to super bright, might be an interesting design idea, but needs more flowing transition between bright and dark. Some things look like they are placed there for the hell of it, could do with a bit of cleaning up.
 
There is certainly a jarring contrast between the light of the sky and the darkness of the terrain textures.
