Huh, I remember a while back that Arnust was bragging about how well Blizzard was doing under Actvision to own us "AAA Game Haters". Look forward to throwing this in his smug face.
 
The gaming business sucks balls. It has for a long time. To pursue a career in that field, well you have to be somewhat insane to do that.
 
Activision mostly culls superstructure - useless community managers, esports, diversity managers, you name it. The basis, the core dev team is planned to be expanded by 20% 'til the end of this year. They do it because the superstructure is not doing its job very well. "Don't you guys have phones?", yeah and a reputation damage is severe lately.

Stop falling for bait, guys. If you sense a blogger is getting emotional - it's a bait. If you're not sure about the subject matters - it's a bait.
