Radiohead is great, some of their tunes are somewhat disturbing but they've got some excellent tunes. Coldplay, nah.. the first album was good, the second one makes it more of the same which in turn makes me dislike it (since they don't seem to evolve).
 
I listen to a few kinds of music... doensn't mean I can't appriciate anything else, though.

70's rock (Led Zeppelin, The Doors, etc), Progressive rock (King Crimson, Pink Floyd, etc), Blues (Old Blues, Rock Blues, and 50's rock and roll) and Jazz (Preferbly 50's-60's stuff).
 
hey faciast, its easy to understand your extreme hatred towards pop music (I dont care for it much myself) but theres no point in getting heated. The reason these no talent american idol princessess are getting rich by doing practically nothing is because there are a shitload of people who like pop and who watch american idol. And thats never gonna change my friend, so be pissed at the world if you want but if i were you i would save myself trouble, drink some sort of alcoholic beverage, and relax.


P.S. when you guys talk about classic rock (i.e. 60s-70's) someone mention CCR to make me feel good :)

P.P.S. Someone mentioned they didnt like Rage's last album? did you mean Audioslave? cuase i thought that was pretty good.

I thought you guys would enjoy hearing something that happened in my English tutorial this year. A girl was doing a presentation about Pop music and the music that she likes.
